On April 14, 1912, at 11:30 pm somewhere off the coast of Newfoundland...
Lookout, Frederick Fleet noticed something big and distinctly iceberg shaped looming out of the mist.
Turning with a look of dread to his buddy Reggie, he leapt into action...
Ringing the warning bell and telephoned the bridge...
"iceberg dead ahead!"
The crew responded quickly by reversing the engines and performing a sharp turn.
HMS Titanic grazed along the side of the iceberg, showering ice fragments on the forward deck.
The lookouts looked at each other and breathed a sigh of relief.
But they forgot the most important thing about icebergs...
What you see above the waterline catches your attention...
But it's what's below the water that really counts!
And it's exactly the same when you're marketing your coaching business.
To catch your prospects' attention, you need to identify what they want.
What does life look like for them right now, and how does that feel?
And how would life be different if they could wave a magic wand and transform everything in a shower of sparkles?
Sell them that.
When you have their attention...
That's when you educate them about what they really NEED to get there.
Hmmm... all this talk of icebergs has put me in the mood for a double scoop, chocolate and walnut (doesn't take much to make me think about ice-cream)
Talk to ya later.
