Got a question for ya .
How do you feel about selling...and promoting yourself?
Not good, right?
Well, it doesn’t have to be like that...
What if I told you there’s a way to sell your products and services without being “salesy”?
Don’t believe me...
All right, I’ll give you an example.
Let’s say you coach entrepreneurs who are working mothers.
You’ve done your research and found that a big challenge they face is between running their companies and running their families, they struggle to take care of their health…
To leverage this pain point in your marketing, you could say...
“I coach working mom entrepreneurs who struggle to prioritize their health.”
That’s pretty succinct, isn’t it?
OR, you could tell a story:
“I was where you’re at right now.
I have three kids...
And I used to work 60 hours a week running a business.
I didn’t have time for self-care -- I barely had time to sleep!
And secretly...
I felt like self-care was for ‘other moms’ who didn’t have the kind of schedule I had.
Until one day, when a client meeting ran over, my assistant had a million questions for me and I was late picking up my youngest from piano lessons.
I was exhausted…
Feeling stressed out...
Pulled in different directions at once…
And I felt a squeezing pain in my chest...”
-
You see the difference, right?
Your audience may not have that same exact experience, but they see themselves in the busy mom who isn’t taking care of herself...
And then they just have to know how things turned out...
And how they can avoid a health scare themselves.
Now, obviously, the story needs to be true...
But I know you have stories that your audience will relate to, you just weren’t taught how to see them, tell them, and leverage them the right way in your businesses.
But when you DO know how to do those things...
You don’t have to be “salesy” or resort to tactics that make you uncomfortable.
The story sells FOR you, in a way that feels genuine for you and for your audience.
That’s the advantage of storytelling in your marketing copy.
I have spent years studying the art of storytelling, invested a small fortune in courses and mentors...
And I’ve got some amazing successes for my clients.
So if you want to leverage expert storytelling to get the same kind of results, you have two options…
You can invest the massive amount of time required to learn it.
Or
You can find someone who has already done that and let them do the heavy lifting for you
You see where I’m going with this, right?
I’m looking forward to hearing your stories.
